I am looking for an investor or a silent partner for a cellular retail store. I have been in the Cellular industry for over five years now along with Customer Service, Retail, Sales and Management. Most of those five years I have spent as store manager. Taking the stores I have managed from going the wrong way, to increasing foot traffic, customers, sales, and profit to record heights. I have broke numerous store records that I have turned around. I was also sent to other locations with my current employer to turn those locations around.
I see the companies I worked for and currently work for, move away from the "New School" form of selling which is becoming the standard now because of its success, and away from viewing their store from their customers point of view, causing them to lose customers, employees, and money. That is currently happening where I am employed now, and I feel it is time that I move on with my ideas and knowledge and open my own cellular retail stores where I can keep the customer first as they are who drives a store to profit. Plus I want to work for a profitable company as mine will be and not with a company moving in the wrong way.
My plans are to open two locations in my city of just under two hundred thousand people. I will have one location on each side of the city to accommodate and service more customers, and then in one to two years I will expand to one more location in this city, and then begin my expansion to other cities and markets outside of my city. Every store I have managed has had success. I have several certifications and awards in sales, customer service, management and retail which help me, and will help my stores to succeed. What I am going to do is open two cellular stores where we truly care about the customer and their needs, and then a chain of cellular stores. We will strive to make sure that no customer leaves any of our stores unsatisfied. We will also stay up to date on all the newest cellular technology and accessories so we can continue to offer the newest and hottest items first, giving us an edge on competition. Along with successful advertising on local radio, TV and print ads, my stores will succeed in this market to become the number one cellular agent in the area, and then the area where my chain of stores are.
What I am looking for is four million to help get both locations up and running. I am looking for someone who is willing to help me financially with this and, if possible, willing to wait two to three months before I start making payments back to help get the stores running. If I get a silent partner, what I am prepared to do is give them forty percent of the business with an option for me to purchase the forty percent from them anytime after six months for two million dollars, or as soon as I can repay the remaining balance of the four million dollars plus the additional two million, giving the silent partner a two million dollar profit for a total of six million dollars.
I expect my stores to be profitable in the first year, but realistically I expect them to be profitable in the second or third year. I will be grateful if someone can help me with funding to get my stores going. In my market the carrier I am choosing to go with is Alltel because AT&T is taking them over here in South Dakota some time during 2010, or the beginning of next year. This will create a huge AT&T market here and excellent opportunity to cash in on. With AT&T never before being able to come to Sioux Falls and all the customers that are going to want the iPhone and go with the new carrier on the block, it is important for us to become established now so people will think to come to us first. Also it is important so that we catch the initial phase of AT&T coming to Sioux Falls to make the most profit. By establishing our selves now, my stores will be ready for the change over and positioned to move forward against the competition to become number one, and the local best.
