Description:
The Alternative Funding Task Force of the Coventry Public School System is seeking funding for several Green Roof Projects.

We are in dire need of new roofs for our high school, one elementary school, and one section of our middle school. Due to the economy, funding is not available through our local or state government.

It is our understanding that grants are available through the federal government for green roof projects. We are looking for help in obtaining one of these grants.

One of our goals is to incorporate our green roof project into our math and science curriculums. Thus, we are looking for input from individuals who may have already developed a "Green/Sustainable Living" curriculum.

Finally, in addition to grant funding, we are looking for donations from organizations, groups, or individuals with an interest in education and sustainable living.
