Hello! We a company mining emeralds in Zambia. We are looking for start up (final stage) capital of US$ 500,000 in order to produce fine quality emeralds in the existing pit. Here in below is the profile:
1. Double ‘C’ Investment Ltd is an Emerald Mining Company Domiciled in Zambia. The mine (Hakopa Emerald mine) is located in the world renowned Kamakanga Emerald belt of Ndola Rural Emerald Restricted Area (Lufwanyama District) in the Copperbelt Province. Since opening in1994, the mine has been developing an open pit, presently at 15meters depth, from which low grade emeralds (Beryls) have been extracted. The Geology (ground conditions) obtaining both in the pit and mine area have shown great potential for production of fine quality emeralds at depth, especially, that Zambia thrives with production of fine quality emeralds globally at 20% market share.
2. Double ‘C’ Investment Ltd would now like to mine deeper in the existing pit until fine emeralds are produced, correlated below 20-23meters. The operation involves Earthmoving with mining machinery, Drilling and Blasting with explosives, thorough winning of emeralds conventionally and export sales to world markets. The emeralds (rough) mined are supplied to Gemstone cutters and polishers who in turn supply to the Jewelry, Ornamental and Decorative industry. We strongly believe, (as qualified and experienced Mining Engineers, Geologists and Industrial Management professionals) that our mine has fine quality emeralds, the market desperately needs (emeralds), especially with the current scenario whereby Demand for fine quality emeralds surpasses Supply from even would-be competitors (miners) not only in Zambia (20%) but also from other producing countries like Brazil, Colombia, Pakistan, Zimbabwe etc. Emerald is an ever unique precious gemstone in its natural occurrence and self selling, perhaps the key is producing it, in it’s rightful quality.
3. Double ‘C’ Investment Ltd is seeking US$500,000 to mine deeper and produce fine quality emeralds in the existing pit. This capital will be invested in procurement of mining equipment (US$330,000) and working capital (US$170,000)to support the operations until fine quality emeralds are produced and marketed. We are confident that our company will obtain a solid return on investment within 12 months and that investor (s) will break even within the first year, especially taking into consideration emeralds pricing mechanisms in the market.
